Villa Puccini is strategically oriented at the top of one of the most perfectly situated Chianti hills, offering guests stunning views of the Tuscan valleys and countryside beyond. Originally built in the year 1,000 AD, the villa has undergone a lengthy and meticulously conceived restoration. This gorgeous villa, which has been beautifully appointed with the latest modern facilities, has all the comforts that one might want for a memorable and truly unforgettable stay.
The beautifully restored Villa Puccini is comprised of two buildings: a magnificent tower and the original hay barn, connected by a glass corridor. The villa, with a separate studio apartment at the pool level, has a total of seven double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms can accommodate 16 guests. It has a very well-equipped large kitchen, huge dining room and several living rooms complete the interior offering and an assortment of furnished outdoor areas and al fresco dining terrace to entice you to linger outdoors.
In the tower, there are two large living rooms with glorious arched windows providing a spectacular view over the Tuscan hills. There is one twin bedroom that can be combined as a king with en-suite bathroom; and a separate powder room. On the second floor, there is a bedroom (queen size bed) with fireplace and a large double shower bathroom; a twin bedroom (which can be joined as a king) with en suite shower bathroom, and a bedroom (queen size bed) with en-suite bathroom and adjoining living room (perfect for reading) with large fireplace. On the third floor, the master bedroom has a queen size bed, separate dressing room, and large bathroom with lavish bathtub and separate walk-in shower.
In the converted hay barn, there is a gourmet kitchen with two ovens, one microwave, double fridge, a wine fridge, an 8 burner induction stove, double sink, commercial dishwasher; and a dining room which seats 16-18, laundry room and powder room on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (queen size beds) each with en suite bathroom
Both the tower and the hay barn have been completely restored with old brick floors and reclaimed wooden ceilings, showcasing the best of contemporary Italian design, with a very contemporary and clean look.
Outside, a typical Italian garden awaits, with lawns adorned with roses, jasmine and indigenous plants and flowers offering guests different areas to relax in with complete privacy. The infinity swimming pool with its separate jacuzzi overlooks the stunning Chianti countryside. Vineyards with foilage that change colors with the seasons and the silhouetted towers of the San Gimignano skyline on the horizon, guarantee complete relaxation under the Tuscan sun.
If you want to venture out, there are many interesting country roads to explore and breathtaking vistas to admire by bike, motorbikes or scooters which can be rented nearby. If tennis is your passion, a clay court, at a private villa adjacent to the villa is available for your use.
As an added feature, there is an outdoor theatre made from hundred-year-old wood located in the villa’s garden. Every week, there are different events held for guests to enjoy such as a concert or an opera, followed by a buffet dinner.
