Note: In order to reach the villa, you need to take a narrow uphill road. A 4×4 car is strongly suggested or at least a car with automatic transmission. A van is not suggested as it will have difficulty navigating the narrow road. After parking on the premises, there is a ramp of about 80 steps to reach the villa’s entrance. The villa is not appropriate for guests with disabilities or small children.
The philosophy behind the design of Villa Vento is to combine historic and modern elements to enhance its innate beauty. The villa is very private and surrounded by conservation land, wood and rocks which marry the interior and outside living space. Traditional materials were incorporated in a contemporary way during its renovation.
A large living room with sliding glass doors leads out onto an adjoining terrace and a breathtaking lake view. The kitchen is in the old stone part of the house and has a fireplace. The four en suite bedrooms are also located on the ground floor and can sleep a maximum of 8 persons.
