Tours
The location of this vacation home, as others in the area, requires driving on a
“strada bianca” – a typical Tuscan white dirt road. When renting a vehicle for your
holiday, we strongly suggest not renting any vehicle with a low-carriage
Common Areas
Both an exterior and interior staircase lead to the first floor. Two stone-paved patios flank the external staircase. Inside, the living room measures 50 square meters and contains a striking fireplace. French doors lead to the patio, dining area and gardens. The adjacent dining room has the capacity to seat 20 guests. The large state-of-the-art kitchen seats 12 guests. There is a huge hearth, two five-burner stoves, two large ovens, and a large double door refrigerator with an ice maker. The staircase from the lobby to first floor veranda allows access to six of the eight bedrooms.
Suites and Bedroom
BEDROOM 1: This is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, veranda connecting to the rest of the house, and a coatroom with bathroom with sink. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and window screens.
BEDROOM 2: This double bedroom has a separate entrance from the patio. It has an ensuite bathroom with bathtub with wall mounted shower.
BEDROOM 3: This is the double master bedroom, measuring 35 square meters; it includes a study area, hearth and sitting area, views on three sides, and ensuite bathroom with large stone bathtub with wall mounted shower and double sinks. There is a second smaller bathroom as well as a large walk-in closet.
BEDROOM 4: Up to five guests can sleep in this bedroom: one at floor level and four in a loft reached by an internal staircase, with two single beds and one double bed. This area is suitable for kids (it includes satellite TV, VHS, DVD, and stereo) or parents with children. There is an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.
BEDROOM 5: This is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a double sink, bathtub and wall mounted shower.
BEDROOM 6: This is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a double sink, bathtub and wall mounted shower.
BEDROOM 7: This is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a double sink, bathtub and wall mounted shower.
BEDROOM 8: This is a double bedroom, located below the master suite. Gorgeous views can be seen from three sides of the room. The bathroom has a bathtub and wall mounted shower and, and there is an additional small bathroom.
Outdoors
The terraces for alfresco dining offer unbelievable views over the Val D’Orcia. Adjoining is an outdoor oven and BBQ. The house is surrounded by three acres of lawned gardens and orchards. The vegetable garden produces vegetables, herbs and flowers which can you pick and enjoy.
An ancient stone sheltered dining patio with built in barbecue seats up to 20 guests. The second patio is ideal for drinks at sunset. Beyond these patios is the solar panel heated infinity pool with jet streams (20 x 4 meters), surrounded by sun beds and lounge chairs. Positioned to the side of the lap pool is a large hot tub that can accommodate 8 guests.
