San Giuseppe reveals itself as you approach a driveway lined with olive trees and a sweeping meadow. An expansive courtyard is flanked by the main residence and a guest residence.
Featuring the very best Tuscan design, San Giuseppe is a magnificent farmhouse to visit any time of year. Walk amongst nature, lounge by the pool or sit on the outdoor patio in the warmer months. When the weather cools down, take advantage of the relaxing hot tub located in the farmhouse’s most unique feature—a restored barn that has been converted to the guest residence. Inside, arched doorways, vaulted ceilings, and exposed building materials deliver one-of-a-kind authenticity.
This contemporary Tuscan farmhouse features dramatic views of the countryside—a breathtaking scene that evolves and changes every season. Friends or families will enjoy this private, yet artful farmhouse. An airy kitchen and dining area connects to the courtyard leading to the pool and hot tub. Enjoy al fresco dining or take in views of the Tuscan countryside.
History
The estate’s rich history dates back to the end of the 10th century, when it was built and christened Querceto Manor. Querceto Manor often hosted the political exiles of nearby Siena until it fell into decline starting in the 15th century. Timbers Resorts acquired the estate in 2005 and immediately began a significant and authentic restoration of all of the buildings, including the historic estate. The restoration has made use of traditional construction methods and authentic materials found on the estate and throughout the region, while spaces were updated with modern conveniences and luxuries. Here you can enjoy privacy on this 4,200-acre estate with amenities of the resort.
