Each tent has a private bedroom with a king-sized bed, living space and private bathroom with shower all in approximately 50 square meters. The Safari Lodge is larger and can accommodate up to 4 persons – ideal for a family.
This is a truly magical retreat where the owners will pamper you beginning with breakfast that will be delivered to your door in a picnic basket. You can begin your day on your suspended portico delighting in homemade cakes, croissants, cured meat and local cheeses as you gaze out over the mountains, the sea, the island of Elba and also Corsica peering through the morning mist.
The lodges are located in Tuscany’s Maremma area and are only four kilometers from the Follonica Gulf, surrounded by the Bandite Reserve of Scarlino. It is one of the most beautiful stretches of coast, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea with splendid sites such as Violina Bay (15-20 minutes on foot) and Martina Bay. The nearest town, Follonica, is 10 kilometers away and has numerous restaurants. There are also wonderful wineries from leading producers such as Gaja, Antinori and Allegrini. But, there is no reason to venture too far away as there is a bistro on the premises serving lunch and dinner and bar service serving local wines and olive oils (upon request).
