Set among sprawling vineyards, La Casa features views in every direction including the rolling countryside and enchanting Belmond Castello di Casole, the hotel on the estate. Drive along a stately lane to get to the main residence, which is complemented by two guest homes.
A stone courtyard provides a place to relax and dine. Enjoy the views and swim in the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards. The main feature of this classic farmhouse is the open floorplan where friends or families can cook, dine and gather together. Exposed stone walls, arched doorways and a traditional Tuscan fireplace create warmth and intimacy throughout the farmhouse.
History
The estate’s rich history dates back to the end of the 10th century, when it was built and christened Querceto Manor. Querceto Manor often hosted the political exiles of nearby Siena until it fell into decline starting in the 15th century. Timbers Resorts acquired the estate in 2005 and immediately began a significant and authentic restoration of all of the buildings, including the historic estate. The restoration has made use of traditional construction methods and authentic materials found on the estate and throughout the region, while spaces were updated with modern conveniences and luxuries. Here you can enjoy privacy on this 4,200 acre estate with amenities of the resort.
