Featuring modern décor and a stunning infinity pool, Campo al Doccio is a classic Tuscan farmhouse with contemporary elegance. Sunlight filters through floor-to-ceiling glass walls, creating a natural ambience with expansive views of the Tuscan hills. The living spaces are expansive, with a central kitchen that opens to the outdoor forno and pergola. It is a decidedly modern interpretation of the Italian tradition that places dining at the heart of the gathering experience.
The living area is an openconcept with the stunning exterior panorama which becomes an extension of the living space. The home contains several unique features that are both dramatic and functional, such as the interior-lit, Lexan-paneled transparent ‘wine cube’, a gourmet open kitchen and the large in-ground pool with the surrounding expansive terrace, perfect for entertaining or for private lounging.
A master bedroom on its own separate floor features a private patio to enjoy views of the Tuscan Hills, and guests will enjoy the comfortable and private bedrooms on the lower level. The guesthouse hosts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room.
History
The estate’s rich history dates back to the end of the 10th century, when it was built and christened Querceto Manor. Querceto Manor often hosted the political exiles of nearby Siena until it fell into decline starting in the 15th century. Timbers Resorts acquired the estate in 2005 and immediately began a significant and authentic restoration of all of the buildings, including the historic estate. The restoration has made use of traditional construction methods and authentic materials found on the estate and throughout the region, while spaces were updated with modern conveniences and luxuries. Here you can enjoy privacy on this 4,200 acre estate with amenities of the resort.
