Casa Veronese has a primate location on the Grand Canal and only a three minute walk to San Marco’s Square. The apartment is housed inside of a typical Venetian palazzo that has been lived in by the same family for the last 200 years.
Situated on the 2nd floor (3rd floor by American standards) with an elevator, the apartment overlooks a quiet square. The interiors have been redecorated in a classic style with a contemporary twist. The walls are decorated with fine engravings which have been in the family for over 200 years as well as a life-sized copy of the famous de’Barberi map, a birdeye’s view of Venice during the 1500s.
Casa Veronese is a charming and cozy apartment. There is a compact kitchen, ideal for preparing breakfast, snacks and cocktails. The master bedroom is en suite and has a custom-designed canopy bed. The second bedroom has two twins that can be combined to create a king-sized bed. Both bedrooms have deluxe mattresses.
You can reach the apartment by private dock (if the tides cooperate).
Minimum stay is 3 nights. €1,000 security deposit is required prior to arrival. Check in is between 2pm-7pm, with late check out available upon request. Includes a welcome hamper: 1 bottle of prosecco and peach juice to make a Bellini cocktail, 4 bottles of water (still & sparkling), fresh fruit.
