Casa Tintoretto has a prime location on the Grand Canal and only three minutes by foot to San Marco’s Square. The apartment is housed inside of a typical Venetian palazzo that has been lived in by the same family for the last 200 years. Situated on the 1st floor (2nd floor by American standards), or piano nobile, the apartment has been restored and redecorated entirely in spring 2019.
Upon entering the apartment, you are welcomed by a grand foyer with large mirrors, antiques and vintage architectural prints. This grandeur flows into the spacious living room with its soaring ceilings and tall windows overlooking the sunny, tranquil square bordered by other refined historic buildings. Classic style and contemporary design are wonderfully blended with stylish modern lighting, a plush sofa and armchairs and a beautiful divan that can be used as a small bed for a child.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and a breakfast table. In the master bedroom, you are drawn to a super king-sized bed crowned with an enchanting Venetian-styled canopy, adding a romantic ambiance to the room. The bedroom also has a sitting area, a walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom with shower.
You can reach the apartment by private dock (if the tides cooperate).
Minimum stay is 3 nights. €1,000 security deposit is required prior to arrival. Check in is between 2pm-7pm, with late check out available upon request. Includes a welcome hamper: 1 bottle of prosecco and peach juice to make a Bellini cocktail, 4 bottles of water (still & sparkling), fresh fruit.
