Case Mattei is an independent palazzo with an independent entrance from the street level, spread out over three levels and with two entrances to the two separate apartments that are reserved exclusively for you.
One apartment is on the first floor above ground level and composed of a bedroom with two single beds, a master bedroom, a single bedroom, a bedroom with queen bed and a mezzanine to accommodate another 2 persons within the same room. The space is completed by three bathrooms with showers, a welcoming living room with sofa bed, and a kitchen. A beautiful and ample terrace can be accessed from the kitchen. An outdoor lounge, chairs and dining table are an ideal ambience to relax all together after a long day of sightseeing in the city. This level is equipped with air conditioning and floor heating.
The second apartment is located on the second floor above ground and is in itself divided on two floors. On the lower level a bedroom with a double bed and sofa bed can accommodate 4 guests, while there are two other bedrooms, one for 2 and one for 1 person. Three bathrooms with showers are available for our guests.
On the upper floor, there is a double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds, each with en-suite bathrooms. The living room with a kitchenette is situated on the main floor, so the entire group can gather around the large dining table for a savory dinner. We can also arrange a private chef to prepare dinner or your group can enjoy a cooking class.
Casa Mattei is ideal for large groups as the two separate apartments provide privacy. The location is central and walking distance to Trastevere, one of Rome’s oldest and lively area, the Ghetto, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and more.
Minimum 3 night stay, with a 6 night minimum stay during Christmas, New Year’s and Easter.
