The Anissa apartment has an excellent location in the heart of Venice in the lively and central San Polo district, in the center of Venice. There are stunning canal views from the large French windows, a balcony with canal views, and an impeccably decorated interior.
Located on the second floor of an ancient palazzo, Anissa has a living room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an eat-in kitchen. Towering ceilings and stylish custom-made Italian furnishings make this space a regal place to stay.
The living room is heaven, with a plush sofa and coffee table that sit on a soft, thick carpet. Two French windows with a balcony overlook the charming canal and afford picturesque vistas of Venice. The 21-foot ceilings are painted a dove-grey and are framed by a bronze stucco molding. The walls are in a light hue, while the antique terrazzo floor is beige with dusky pink and black flecks. The furniture is by several famous Italian designers and includes a custom-made table by Desalto, chairs by Azucena with Rubelli fabric, a custom-made sofa on a design of Ico Parisi in muted shades of blue.
To the right of the living room, there is a bedroom, with four large windows overlooking the canal and square. Its high beamed ceiling is painted dove-grey, while textiles are original Fortuny. Oak floors line the bedroom and en-suite bathroom which has a large tub in Istrian stone.
The second bedroom is located to the left of the living room and has three large canal-facing windows. The flooring is also oak; the walls are covered in Rubelli wallpaper; the bed is by Felis covered with designer textiles.
A step away is a luxurious bathroom featuring a large shower and a round window overlooking the canal. The bathroom is fitted with high-end accessories, such as an Istrian stone vanity and walk-in shower, mirrors, and custom-made cabinetry.
A hallway leads to a very spacious eat-in kitchen with an island made from Corian.
There is a third bedroom and bathroom. The spacious bedroom is decorated with a Susami tapestry from Central Asia, a floor lamp by Catellani & Smith, and sconces by Contardi. Both rooms face the garden and canal.
The apartment is located in the lively and central San Polo district, which has the highest number of traditional Venetian taverns, particularly typical Venetian “bacari” which serve the delicious Venetian ‘tapas’ called “chicheti.” The most important icon in this district is the Rialto Bridge, the typical fish and vegetable market and the church of San Giacomo di Rialto, considered the oldest in Venice. The ‘Ruga Rialto’ is the main artery connecting the Rialto area to Campo San Polo and is lined with a variety of shops, many still run by Venetian artisans selling locally-made goods ranging such as Italian leather, clothing and accessories.
The apartment is easily reachable and located near the San Tomà Vaporetto ACTV Stop, not far from the Grand Canal. Partially surrounded by the Grand Canal, the district is served by line 1 of the public transportation system through the Vaporetto ACTV – stops Rialto Market and San Silvestro. Line 2 also reaches San Polo with the San Tomà stop. The palazzo has its own pier for guests to unload luggage.
